The label

Sunlightsquare Records is the London label that has carried the Sunlightsquare name since its first release in 2006. The catalogue numbers tell you the format: SUN7 for 7-inch singles, SUN12 for 12-inches, SUNCD for albums and SUNDIG for digital releases. Alongside Claudio Passavanti's own records the label has released trumpeter Quentin Collins, the Quentin Collins / Brandon Allen Quartet, percussionist Giovanni Imparato, guitarist Chris Allard and Abbilona, the batá ensemble from Havana. Kudos Records distributes the catalogue, on vinyl, CD and digital. Vinyl has always been at the centre. The 7-inches of I Believe In Miracles, Pastime Paradise, Land Of 1000 Dances, O Mi Shango, Super People and Flies To Rio have all sold out, and 903 Discogs users have Super People alone on their wantlist. Two new 7-inches are in production for 2026: a green edition of I Believe In Miracles, SUN7001GRN, and SUN7007, Super People with its instrumental on the flip.
