Ochosi was recorded at the Instituto Cubano de Radio y Televisión in Havana and mixed back in London by Claudio Passavanti, who produced and arranged it. The March 2013 release came as a 12-inch, SUN12002, with the Original Mix on one side and a Jose Marquez mix on the other, and as a digital EP that adds a radio mix and instrumentals. A documentary-style music video filmed in Cuba went up on YouTube and has had around 55,000 views. The track returned a year later on the album King Yoruba.
