Oyelo puts Cuban music and house side by side in their most direct forms: moody Latin-jazz piano, live percussion from Giovanni Imparato and a TR-909 beat. René Alvarez, resident Cuban singer at Ronnie Scott's, sings, and Claudio Passavanti plays piano, keys and bass, adding heated montuno riffs. Kay Suzuki edited it and made the By The Sea Mix and Drum Dub for the 2017 12-inch. The story kept going. Atjazz remixed it in 2019, and his Love Soul Remix has passed a million Spotify streams. Licensed remixes followed on Ocha, MoBlack, Cabeau, Open Bar and Silverprod, the latest in July 2026.
