Sunlightsquare turned to Brazil in 2016 with the singer and guitarist Josué Ferreira, a player steeped in Marcos Valle, Jorge Ben and Seu Jorge who had been performing around the world and in London. Together they reworked two songs, Nação and Jorge Ben's Taj Mahal, over bossa nova, samba and Afro-Cuban rhythms. The 7-inch, SUN7006, put the two original mixes back to back in May 2016, and the digital EP added extended mixes and instrumentals. Craig Charles played it on BBC 6 Music and Jazz FM picked it up too. The 7-inch has sold out.
